It is hard to believe another year has come and gone. It was certainly an exciting year for the game of golf as 2016 provided many exciting moments to watch the best players in the world display their outstanding skills on the course! And Fairway Leathers continues to grow beyond our expectations. We have just returned from the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show and we are proud to say that as a New Exhibitor, our 1st major showing in the world of golf merchandising was successful. We met a lot of new contacts and friends as well as catching up with old friends. We are grateful for our good friend and colleague Paul Tesori (pro caddie for Webb Simpson) who spent the first morning of the show with us in our booth for “Paul Tesori Day”! We have a wonderful friendship with Paul, his beautiful wife Michelle, and their adorable son Isaiah. The Tesori Family Foundation is a foundation that we here at Fairway Leathers are very proud to support and honor! It was an amazing experience to join with them and provide our watch bags for the children at the All-Star Kids Clinic that took place at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, NC in August and then again to make journal covers for the participants of their 3-21 Classic Event in November at The Golf Club at South Hampton in St. Augustine, FL.
Our relationship with various college & university golf teams around the country continues to grow and we have even added some new friends from various high school teams as well. We are encouraged by the talent yet to come from those young players. We continue to work on collegiate licensing and hope to make additional NCAA logos available for our retail customers in the future.
In addition to providing products to various tour players, Fairway Leathers is now an affiliate vendor for the Association of Professional Tour Caddies. We are looking forward to forming new relationships and affiliations with various groups and organizations in the coming year. We will keep you updated!
