We absolutely love golf.

We are a small family business.

 We were started in 2014 by my brother Chuck. He loved golf. He played all his life. In 2009 he became very ill and in 2014 he wanted to start a business to keep himself in the game. He was playing one day with Paul Tesori, Webb Simpson’s tour caddie. Chuck met him through a friend. Chuck saw Paul’s yardage book cover was in bad shape and asked Paul if he could try to make a new one for him. He took Paul’s cover, pulled it apart and started to design what we do today.

In 2015, Chuck passed away from what we found out to be cancer. At that time, my sister and I decided to keep Fairway Leathers going in Chuck’s memory. We still believe in the same principles Chuck did. Produce a high-quality custom product and do whatever we have to do to satisfy the client. As I said above, were a small family company. I did the designs and sales. My sister Barb handled the production. She cut every piece of leather to order. She did all our embroidery. Once she was done with embroidery, she took our work to the same seamstress Chuck started with. Our seamstress is an Amish lady in Fredericks, OH. All the stitching work is done on compressed air sewing machines. She has no electricity in her shop.

 In June of 2024 my sister Barb passed away. At that time Melissa (my wife) and I decided we were not going to fold Fairway Leathers. The business means too much to us to do that.

 In October 2024, I brought all our equipment from Ohio down to NC. We then began our search for a retail location. Today, we cut the leather and do the embroidery in the shop. Once the embroidery is done, I ship the pieces to our Amish seamstress in Ohio. We want to be consistent with our quality.

 Personal custom items are always a big hit with our clients. Unfortunately, so many companies require a minimum order. Fairway Leathers does not require this. We can produce 1 or any number you need.

 Since 2015 we have produced over 10,000 items. We are used by over 300 colleges and high schools around the country. We are used on several tours by many individuals. On the PGA tour we are used by Marc Leishman, JJ Spaun. We have also made covers for Ernie Els, Justin Rose to name a few others. Of course, Paul carries our product at every event he is in. We are in the shops of Sage Valley Golf Club, Old Chatham Golf Club, Oregon Golf Club, Sedgefield Country Club, plus several others.

I am proud to be able to say, we truly are a custom handmade product done 100% of the time in the USA. Our company is about as grassroots as you can get.
